Hello. My name is Jessica and I’m from the Philippines. I just moved to Paris last week. I’m currently taking my MBA. As my school workload is pretty light this semester, I am looking for apart-time jobs. I speak very little French (je parle un peu Francais). I took basic French courses before I moved to France. I’m very much open to learning French and I’m currently look for a training center for available classes.

I grew up with my parents and grandparents (both mother and father side). When I was in high school, my grandfather (father's side) had a stroke and was bedridden was 6 years. In these 6 years, I've helped my mother and grandmother take care of Lolo with the assistance of a househelp and physical therapist. I've looked after my grandfather when my grandmother was out with my father for some important bank transactions. Since half of my grandfather's body (left side) was paralyzed, he couldn't eat or drink water by himself. I've spoon-fed him countless times while watching his favorite shows, assisted him in drinking his medicines and vitamins, and also changed his shirt a few times when the househelp was not available.

I've also become my Lola's (father's mother) grocery and salon buddy. When my grandfather passed away, my Lola and I became closer. I would accompany her during her weekend trips to the grocery and we have our quarterly salon dates. Until now, though I live a thousand miles away from home, we still talk through video call.

I enjoy spending time with the elderly. I think there's so much to learn from them.

Jessica est la babysitter idéale pour les enfants, elle a gardé mes deux enfants dès 3mois, régulièrement. Elle leur propose plein d'activités, est très organisée, ce qui aide pour la maison et la logistique. Tout se passe toujours merveilleusement bien avec elle et les enfants sont très heureux!

Meilleure babysitter que nous ayons eu jusqu'à present. Elle a gardé mes 2 filles < 1 an et ma fille de 8 ans qui avait un blocage en anglais. Toutes 2 l'adorent ! La langue n'est pas une barrière car elle arrivait toujours à se faire comprendre de ma fille. Dynamique, excellente prise d'initiative, elle faisait des planning durant les vacances pour ma fille et à très bien su s'occuper de la plus petite. D'autre part, agréable, toujours sourirante et enthousiaste, personnalité riche. Je la recommande.
