I am bilingual in Spanish and English (my mother is from the U.S.) and have lived and worked in the U.S. for several years. I am currently learning French.
With over 23 years of teaching experience, including more than eight years in Early Years in international, public, private, and charter schools, I am passionate about creating joyful, secure, and engaging bilingual learning environments for young children.
I hold an MEd and degrees in Early Years, Primary, and Secondary Physical Education, with specialization in English, music, physical education, therapeutic pedagogy and hearing and speech impairments.
I have taught students aged 3 to 17 across a range of subjects and curricula, including British, US, International, and Spanish programs, often working with non-English speaking language learners.
I have experience using the “Jolly Phonics” method to teach English phonics.
I prefer to use all kinds of games to entertain.
I also have extensive experience teaching adventure sports and traditional sports to children and teenagers of all ages.
I am very creative, innovative, fun, intelligent, active, and an enthusiastic person.
