I'm currently working as an aupair in the south of France, , but open to working as an aupair for the upcoming ski season if I find the right family! I'm looking to gain my ski instructor qualifications over the next few years, so a family based in a ski resort, who share my passion for the mountains would be amazing ! *

I'm a 19 year old, currently taking time between finishing school and starting university to in order to acquire some more language skills and gain more understanding of the world around me. As a person, I'm smiley, independent, accepting and mature. I'm the eldest of 7 children, the youngest being 1, so I'm extremely experienced with children of all ages. I grew up on the Isle of Wight, and lead an extremely active/outdoorsy lifestyle. I adore going to the beach and waterski at home. I also am extremely passionate about skiing and the mountains, having done two ski seasons. I enjoy meeting new people and learning. I recently spent a month volunteering in an orphanage in Sri Lanka working with newborns - 3 years. I've spent the past 5 months working as a helper in a ski school in the French Alps and am now au pairing for a lovely family in the south of France for the summer. I'm loving every minute of it! I have also mastered confidently driving on the 'wrong' side of the road!

Update: I'm currently au pairing in France and looking after two children aged 6 and 9. I am absolutely loving the experience and adore my host family. The two children I care for are now like my little brother and sister! We are having a fantastic summer going to the beach, building dens and going on adventures. I've found aupairing suits me very well, as I have a love for children, learning and travelling.

I would love to work as an au pair as primarily I love working with children. I feel extremely confident and comfortable caring for children, as I've had so much experience with them. In addition, I wish to spend time abroad getting to know a knew place/culture/people.I would love to find a family that would be happy to help me improve my french!!+ As a child, I had many au pairs, some of which I'm still in contact with now - I'd love to be able to act as a role model, as my previous au pairs have for me.
