As I mentioned, I am a university student from the United States. At home, I study English/creative writing and French. I speak a little French, and am capable of holding simple conversations and giving additional directions in French when English is not sufficient.
As an English/creative writing student, an aspiring writer, and a life-long lover of literature, I think about my language more profoundly and study it more rigorously than most do. I understand my language very well, and this in turn makes me an effective instructor.
I can give lessons on everything from basic conversation skills and grammatical structure to English/American literature to precise criticism on advanced written or oral projects, such as literary essays, project proposals, and presentations.
I began tutoring lycee students in English this November, and this has been the extent of my tutoring experience so far, but I am looking forward to the opportunity to improve my teaching skills.
