My name is Celia and I am a second-year Master student at Sciences Po.
I'm a native Spanish speaker and have conducted my entire education in English, which has led me to acquire a certified C1-level.
I have been tutoring and babysitting kids from all ages (6 - 17 years old) since I was 15. As such, I have developed a variety of teaching methods adapted to each individual and their needs. However, I generally consider that speaking the language of the class (unless the level is really basic) is necessary to achieve success.
I also speak French and German, in case big translation and understanding issues arise. Otherwise, I generally tend to just explain what a word means, as I believe this helps students create their own connection between words and their meanings and, thereby, help their memorization.
